Sarah Farmer is an Education Consultant offering inclusive support for expat families and students attending international schools. With her background in Special Education, she focuses on improving communication between all stakeholders involved in a child’s development. She specialises in identifying/explaining unique student needs, and offers at home behavioural support for students with executive functioning struggles.
Sarah has a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) focused on Special Education from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, as well a TOEFL certification and a certification in assistive technology applications. Over the past 10 year, Sarah has honed skills in IEP management, interventions, education technology, brain-based teaching, and learning strategies. She has taught and built special education programs in South Carolina, California, Washington, and Morocco.
Sarah enjoys the outdoors and all things aquatic: SCUBA diving, swimming, kayaking. From the coast of California, where she is from, to the hot springs of Iceland, Sarah is always finding herself in water. She and her husband also enjoy cooking and spending quality time with friends.
