Meet Elijah Ed Llagas Padayuman

SENIA is thrilled to announce that the 2025 SENIA Student Award has been awarded to Elijah Paddayuman, a grade 12 student at Meridian International Learning Experience, Philippines!

Elijah has made a remarkable impact on the school community through his heartfelt video presentation about autism spectrum disorder. While many of his classmates were already aware of his condition, Elijah’s presentation provided them with a deeper understanding of his experiences and challenges. One classmate was so moved that they nearly cried, and many others expressed how much they learned from Elijah’s honest sharing.

This presentation not only allowed Elijah to share his story but also fostered empathy and awareness among his peers. As a result, Elijah felt more understood and accepted within his school community.

In a testament to his commitment to making a difference, Elijah, with the support of his mom, is currently planning an Autism Awareness activity for the entire school community. This initiative will serve as a contribution and legacy to the school that has nurtured and supported him over the past 12 years.
