Meet Addu Menon

We are proud to announce Advaith “Addu” Menon as the SENIA World Changer Award for September 2026.

Advaith, fondly called Addu, inspires inclusion by showing that communication extends far beyond spoken words. As a non‑verbal autistic individual, he moderated the Autism Awareness Panel at Cisco, a multinational company, with remarkable confidence. 

Using the Avaz app, he introduced panelists, posed thoughtful questions, and shared how his helmet helps manage anxiety. His presence challenged stereotypes and reminded society that diverse communication modes—AAC, gestures, or technology—carry equal weight. 

In front of nearly 230 employees, Addu demonstrated that being non‑verbal is not a limitation but a different way of expressing strength. His leadership revealed that autistic individuals are capable of productivity, connection, and meaningful contribution when given opportunities. 

By embracing his unique voice, Addu inspires communities to celebrate differences, recognize abilities, and ensure inclusion. He embodies the truth that every individual, regardless of communication style, can be a changemaker and a valued member of society. Congratulations, Addu!
