Congratulations to Inclusive Sports Network (ISN) as a recipient of the SENIA World Changer Award!
ISN is a volunteer-powered organization in Vienna, Austria, that’s changing the game for children with disabilities by creating opportunities to play, connect, and belong.
Over the past 18 months, ISN has been creating opportunities for children with and without disabilities to play, learn, and grow together. From tennis, basketball, and skiing to multi-sport camps and lessons, their programs help children discover their interests, develop skills, and experience the joy of being part of a team.
ISN is also introducing blind baseball, using sound-emitting balls and blackout goggles so players with different levels of vision impairment can participate on equal terms.
Their programs also bring middle and high school students into the experience as mentors, fostering meaningful connections and greater understanding of disability.
