🎉 We’re thrilled to celebrate The Inclusive Sports Network with Bob “Coach Waffle” Schwarz and Sahar Tabbal as the winner of the SENIA World Changer Award!
It began with a chance seating at a dinner of 170 people. Sahar, the mother of a nonverbal autistic son, told Bob she couldn’t find activities that included her son and brought him joy. Bob said he could create them and traveled from the USA to Vienna to “prove it.” Sahar then convinced him to move permanently from the USA to Vienna and start the Inclusive Sports Network.
It took both of them: a mother’s courage to speak up and a coach’s willingness to answer the call. A chance seating became a shared mission. Bob’s guiding purpose is to create sports activities that bring joy to kids of every ability, including those with behavior challenges.
