Promoting inclusion in the school community is something that truly inspires Julijana. She loves working with students who face different challenges, finding joy in every small success. Whether it is helping a student build confidence, try something new, or simply feel accepted, these moments serve as powerful motivation. Julijana believes that everyone has the ability to succeed even if their path looks different from others. To her, diverse ways of thinking are not obstacles but strengths, as different minds bring creativity, understanding, and progress to the world.
This year, Julijana hosted two assemblies for Neurodiversity Week, creating opportunities to raise awareness and encourage empathy among students. The assemblies had a lasting impact, with students continuing to talk about them long afterward. Seeing this influence reinforced her commitment to promoting inclusion.
Julijana is driven by the belief that every student deserves to feel valued, supported, and included in their school community. Her dedication, compassion, and leadership make a real difference and we are so proud to recognize her with the SENIA World Changer Award.
