Show #11 Executive Functions and the Connection to Language
Those of us who have been attending SENIA conferences for the past nine years or so are not strangers to my guest today. Dr. Bonnie Singer is the Founder and CEO of Architects For Learning, which is dedicated to giving educators effective teaching methods that take language and critical thinking to new levels. She also directs a staff in the Boston area that helps K-12 and college students succeed in school, college, and beyond.
Dr. Singer and I speak today about how she became interested in how Executive Functioning skills and language disorders are related as well as how teachers and parents can recognize when a child might be struggling with EF challenges. And we discuss ways to support these challenges. And now…onto the show.
